RBC Insurance provides Critical Illness coverage that pays a lump-sum benefit payment that you can use to help reduce your financial burden and maintain your independence in case of a serious illness. RBC Insurance offers two plans to help meet your critical illness insurance needs:

Critical Illness Recovery Plan

  • Provides a Lump-Sum benefit that can go from $25,000 to $2 million

  • Covers over 30 critical illnesses and conditions.

  • From age 18 – 65

  • You can choose from several premium and term options:

    • Level premiums to age 75 (non-cancellable).

    • Level premiums to age 65 or 75.

    • 10-year term renewable to age 75.

  • Each option includes assistant services which help with common needs of critical illness survivors.

Critical Illness Insurance Plan

  • Lump-sum benefits that range from $25,000 to $2 million

  • Coverage for over 30 conditions and illnesses

  • From age 18 – 65

  • From age 55 to 65, you will be able to convert all or some of your coverage to long-term care insurance.

  • Has several premium and term options for you to choose from
